Salary placement will be based on Douglas County Board of Education approved salary schedules and years of verified relevant experience.

210 Days (11 Months) REPORTS TO:
Program Coordinator EDUCATION LEVEL:
High school graduate; minimum of three (3) years experience in secretarial and general office work; school experience preferred.
Equivalent of associates degree or higher preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Sedentary work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Jobs are sedentary if working and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PROFICIENT SKILLS:
Computer and bookkeeping/record keeping skills; general knowledge of all office equipment; maintain confidentiality; ability to perform job under pressure; ability to communicate in a professional manner with students, parents, staff and community both orally and in writing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Essential duties are assigned to the 11 Month Office Clerk based on the needs of the school and may vary from one school to another.
Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance Set up appointments for the program coordinator and certified staff.
Maintain positive working relationship with schools and system-wide personnel.
Process materials and work orders; distribute materials and supplies.
Prepare and submit reports for Cobb County on a monthly basis.
Maintain personnel records and reports.
Prepare and send meeting notices for all meetings.
Maintain correct and timely FTE reporting.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate student information records.
Submit Transportation requests.
Maintain accurate data base for all students.
Collect and submit all expense reports for the program.
Assist in the facilitation of the operation of the program.
Maintain all bank accounts for school activity accounts Maintain all record keeping for school accounts Enter and maintain all purchasing for school/teachers Process all leave forms for school Correspondence for Coordinator/GNETS Program.
Assist attendance clerk when needed Capable of following written and oral instructions Enter all maintenance requests for school building Order all program supplies Perform other duties assigned by the GNETS Coordinator APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
